Active Clinic

The objective was to create a dental clinic in a space characterized by an irregular floor plan and a difference in altimetric dimensions between the entrance area and the rest of the space. Based on this pre-existence, on the programmatic premises and requirements defined by the clients, we started the conception of a project that would prove to be quite functional, linear and financially contained. Our effort would culminate in an easy-to-read plant where the reception space ends up playing a central role in this whole scenario. We can find at the high level a small reception space with service for people with reduced mobility, a space that is directly connected to the low level by means of a ramp, separate from the waiting space for a slat which on the one hand, came to limit the space the ramp, but on the other hand it created a feeling of surprise along the route. At the low level we find the waiting and reception area quite wide and with an irregular shape that is directly linked to the various treatment spaces or services, in an organization scheme of the “L” rooms. As a result of this organization we have, two consultation rooms were turned to the outside, one for dental consultations and another for general practice consultations, followed in the following spaces by the hortopanthomography room and all areas of toilets and  necessary services for this type of equipment. At the end we can find a technical area with a ladder to access the second floor, where we can find a sterilization room and a small dressing room for employees.
